CHRISTOPHER J. GREB, NRP
Executive Director

Chris has been a firefighter and EMS provider for over 25 years in Eastern Pennsylvania and was the first operational employee hired by the Macungie Ambulance Corps in 1998.  He is also an acting supervisor at the Lehigh County 911 communications center, Fire Chief for a Lehigh County Fire Department and an adjunct instructor for two local community colleges as well as a local level instructor for the Pennsylvania State Fire Academy.  He completed his paramedic training in 2005 at the George E. Moerkirk Emergency Medical Institute at Lehigh Valley Health Network.  He maintains certifications as a Nationally Registered Paramedic, Pro-board Fire Officer IV, Fire Instructor II, Fire and Life Safety Educator II, PA EMS Instructor, and an American Heart Association CPR and ACLS instructor.

RACHAEL DIEHL, NRP
Operations Manager

Rachael has been an EMS provider since 2006.  She volunteered for a year and a half as an EMT before being hired on staff.  She completed her paramedic training in 2011 at the George E. Moerkirk Emergency Medical Institute at Lehigh Valley Health Network.  She was involved in the creation of our rehab and Special Operations unit and has assisted in its growth.  In 2022 she was promoted to Operations Manager of the organization.  

KENNETH ESCOLOPIO, NRP
Operations Supervisor

Ken Started as an EMS provider in 2012 with a neighboring squad; he then completed paramedic school in 2015. Ken became a member of Macungie Ambulance Corps in June 2017 where he took on the role of building and fleet manager. Before EMS, Ken served in the U.S. Army for 15 years (1997-2012). He made multiple deployments with Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom with a combat medical company. These experiences sparked his dream of serving the local community in EMS. Ken accepted the position of Operations Supervisor in early 2018 and is currently still responsible for our facilities maintenance. He strongly believes in public and civil service and strives in providing excellent patient care. Ken enjoys his family, fishing with his son and serving the community.

Bill Sames, NRP
Community Outreach and
Education Coordinator

Bill comes to us with over 20 years of experience as a Paramedic for the City of Allentown.  During his career there he was involved with many specialty teams such as the Emergency Response Team, bike team, and Police Athletic League; to

name just a few.  He was one of the original members of the County’s
special operations team.  In addition, he is a certified instructor for
First Aid, CPR and many other disciplines throughout fire and EMS.   He
also currently serves as an Assistant Chief for a local fire company.

In his role here as our Community Outreach and Education Coordinator, he is responsible for many things including…


•       Community First Aid and CPR classes
•       Public Access Defibrillation program
•       Training for our members and fellow emergency responders
•       Community events and station tours
•       Clinical data collection and Quality Improvement

Dan Brown, NRP
Operations Supervisor

Dan began a career in EMS at the age of 14 in 2001; volunteering as a First Responder with a neighboring ambulance corps. Soon after, he continued his education by becoming an EMT at age 16 while still in high school.  Dan is also an Eagle Scout.  He later went to DeSales University and continued working in EMS holding various positions in leadership at both local and Philadelphia based EMS agencies.

Dan joined our team in 2019 as an EMT.  In 2022, he completed his paramedic training with National Medical Education and Training Center and transitioned within Macungie Ambulance Corps to a full time paramedic. In 2024, Dan accepted a promotion to Operational Supervisor and currently oversees our fleet maintenance program.
